ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Poet`s Portrait Head statue, One of a series of poets. The series was initiated as a non commissioned project but many of the poets have been commissioned. Robert Frost was a remarkable man and an iconic poetical figure. Much loved, and an inspirational person to have in ones home.

ARTIST COMMENT

I am a poet as well as a sculptor and set myself the task of commemorating in bronze my most loved modern and contemporary poets. those writers who have already died are of course produced from photographs. Those that are alive have been sculpted from live sittings.
